ERP Compliant Fans

Our fans are produced according to the new energy efficiency requirements

The industrial fans produced by Almeco are designed to achieve a certain energy efficiency point. These values are regulated by the European ERP-directive (Ecodesign). This is the case for fans with a power input between 125 W and 500 kW.

Industrial fans consume about 20% of the total industrial powerconsumption or a total consumption of 275 TWh. The aim is a global saving in electricity consumption of 34 TWh by the year 2020.

The minimal energy efficiency that industrial fans must meet are dependent on:

• Type of fan: axial, centrifugal with backwards inclined blades...
• Measuring category (A, B, C, D)
• Operation with or without frequency converters
